4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Romans 12:4-5
Stem cells are cells that can change into cells like itself or many various types of cells within the body.
Stem cells have two important properties:
1. They are capable of creating more cells like themselves known as self-renewal.
2. They can become other different cells known as differentiation.

After a discouraging conversation with a fellow believer telling me I can't function in so many ways I cried out to God. I said to Him "I know I am doing what you said, but can you show me in your Word that I am on the right path". Stem cells passed through my thoughts, and I began to research them. I studied biology at secondary school; however, I could not remember exactly what stem cells did. As I read what stem cells are and how they function the scripture of the church being "A Body" passed through my thoughts. I was reminded that God created the human body and likened it to the church.
God has blessed me with the ability to do and operate in many roles. He gives me the ability to learn new skills so that I can then teach others how to operate in that role. After those new persons have taken on the role I then move onto a different role within the body of Christ. Often times He uses me to repair or fill a position that is vacant until the person He wants to fill that role comes along.
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Confusion - Often times because I have the ability to do many things it can become confusing to know what I should be doing in that exact season of my life. Just because I can do it doesn't mean I need to.
Moving On - Serving in many capacities means fellowship with many people and sometimes it can become hard to move on and let go.
Boundaries - People see me performing amazing at many things and can sometimes come to expect me to function in the same capacity forever. They may ask me to function in a capacity that I am no longer able to function in and I have to say no.
Burn Out - Again, being great at everything can mean that I end up taking on more than I can handle and by extension I can become burnt out.
Self-Neglect - I end up putting so much into ministry and life that I often neglect my personal ministry, myself. Which means not sleeping, eating or practicing healthy hygiene or nutrition as I should.
Pray and ask God to reveal to you what part of the body you are.
12 There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. 13We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. 14So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts.
