23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3:23-24
It is important to dress modestly. And this goes for men too.
This scripture focuses on food, but this be applied to food, dress, topics of conversation etc.
13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. 14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. 15 If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. 16 Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
Romans 14:13-18
What is your attitude? Are you always grumpy, always complaining or gossiping?
1. Do not complain.
14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.
Philippians 2:14-15
2. Do not gossip.
Do not gossip ,A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much.
Proverbs 20:19
3. Think only on positive things
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8
4. Operate in Wisdom
Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding
Proverbs 3:13
Do everything to God's honor whether you are an employer or employee.
5 Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; 6 not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
9 And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.
Ephesians 6: 5-9
Do you pray for your work colleagues?
Do you pray for the individuals you interact with throughout the day?
Do you pray and ask God to help you?
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
James 5:16-17
Do you share the gospel do you speak about Jesus?
If you don't evangelize verbally can people tell by your actions that you are a Christian?
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
1 Peter 3:15
Ask yourself does this environment encourage me to sin?
Is my faith slipping due to this environment?
What is God's will for me as it relates to this environment?
33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
1 Corinthians 15:33
