1.
You cannot sell your soul.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
The enemy can convince you not to come to God because of "how bad" you are but the door remains open once you are alive. You can agree to be with the enemy but you can always come out of that agreement once you are alive.
2.
Believing in God is not the same as living for Him.
19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
James 2:19
Demons believe and they aren't going to heaven; you need to believe AND live your life for Him.
3.
We cannot earn salvation.
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
Yes, we are responsible for being obedient to God's Word, but we can't earn salvation. Imagine a toddler thinking that because they help around the house, they have earned the right to live there. Nope living in that home takes a lot more than what that a toddler can offer.
4.
Only God can read your mind.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:11
The same way you can get to know someone habits and practices. People and spirits can learn your patterns and therefore give you the illusion that they can read your thoughts.
5.
God loves you.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
6.
Spiritual warfare is real.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:12
7.
If you don't forgive others God wouldn't forgive you.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matthew 6:14-15
8.
Obedience means to love God.
We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
1 John 2:3-6
9.
Looking at someone lustfully is a sin.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
Matthew 5:27-29
10.
Gossiping is a sin
For I am afraid that when I come, I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.
2 Corinthians 12:20
11.
Our actions impact where people will spend eternity and we are responsible for that.
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Matthew 18:6
16 At the end of seven days the word of the Lord came to me: 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[b] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.
20 “Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 21 But if you do warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live because they took warning, and you will have saved yourself.”
Ezekiel 3:16-20
12.
Christianity comes with suffering.
20 If you are punished for doing wrong, there is no reason to praise you for bearing punishment. But if you suffer for doing good, and you are patient, then that pleases God. 21 That is what you were called to do. Christ suffered for you. He gave you an example to follow. So you should do as he did.
22
“He did no sin.
He never lied.”
Isaiah 53:9
23 People insulted Christ, but he did not insult them in return. Christ suffered, but he did not threaten. He let God take care of him. God is the One who judges rightly. 24 Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did this so that we would stop living for sin and start living for what is right. And we are healed because of his wounds. 25 You were like sheep that went the wrong way. But now you have come back to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
1 Peter 2: 20-25
13.
It is not God's will that any should perish.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
14.
Some conversations, jokes and comments should not come from Christian's lips.
4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.
Ephesians 5:4
Christianity is hard. And there were moments that I wanted to give up when things got hard. God knew placing the "do not become weary of doing good" scripture in Galatians 6:9 was important. Honestly, sometimes I do get weary of doing good.
9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
When times get hard run to God. It is easy to say that but honestly on the 14th of June 2025 I wanted to give up on some things because it was hard even though I know God wanted me to continue. The reward in the end. Being with God never suffering again.
It can't compare to the hardships we have now.
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
The Word literally calls us living sacrifices and when has sacrifices ever been easy, it literally means to give up something.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1
Soon this website, this life, this earth that we live in will pass away and we will enter into something totally new and different. I hope that even if I never get to meet or interact with you here on earth that I would get to meet you in heaven and the new earth.
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. Romans 21:1
Give your life to Jesus if you haven't and if you have, please be reminded that Jesus died for your sins and there is nothing you could do to stop Him from forgiving you and accepting you as his child. The lake of fire is real and it is not His will that you end up there.
So dear Christian, dear unbeliever hold onto Jesus Christ.
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelations 20:10
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
